Play with Colors

Right before Easter I decided to play with a semi Permanent hair color by Manic Panic. I dyed only my tips in the front (since the were pre-lightened) with Vampire Red coloring cream:

It was an extremely easy process to do:

1)Wash you hair squeaky clean then dry
2) Use a brush to apply the dye
3) Rinse with cool water
4) Condition
5)Style as usual.

This was the color result:

Of course I stained my scalp a little! Lol But I absolutely love the two toned color style I have going on! It will take probably 10 more washes before it completely fades away. This is a great idea for you ladies if you ever want to try it out!

Also I decide to played with even more semi colors but this time a spray! I did the little Wiz Khalifa look! lol I tell you I have too much fun! This one is by Jerome Russle.

Summer of 2012 is going to be a summer of fun temporary hair colors!!

Microfiber Face Towel

I am absolutely love my Microfiber face towel! My Face tends to become very oily and I've noticed a change in the condition of my skin. When I use the towel it doesn't over dry and it's a very slick feeling. At the same time it is absorbing the water it is also deep cleansing my skin!

According to eHow.com: "Microfiber face cloths are quite popular and are used to clean dirt and grime from the face. The cloth absorbs dirt, grime and oil without the use of chemicals. Microfiber cloths can also be used to remove makeup and to exfoliate the skin, leaving it smooth, soft and glowing."

Regular wash cloths tend to be too harsh on the skin when using it to dry after a facial wash. I have been left with red marks and skin abrasions from using a regular wash cloth that is not soft enough.

However, Microfiber Face Towels are extremely soft and has a cotton texture to it. It will leave your face feeling the way it's supposed to. I highly recommend them! Not just for your face but your body as a whole!

These towels are available in Wal Mart or even the Dollar Tree! Here is a link to learn more or to purchase one of your own: http://www.amazon.com/Microfiber-Facial-Cloth-Multi-Pack-Contains-Individually/dp/B0038EUNG6

Similar to the Box Bump

Hello Ladies!

Remember the Box Bump style and tutorial I did in October!

Well, if you loved that style then you will absolutely like this one as well!

This one is similar but done quite differently! I don't know what to call this one. But I absolutely love it as a protective style!

It's more rounded at the top and wider + stretched out more. I have to say I'm very in love.

I have my right side done in flat twists and the left side completely pulled up! HOT RIGHT??? Different from the usual. Trust me; I will be making more unusual styles for those of you who love to be different.

It's one of my favorites right now other than the finger coils that I did months ago. I will try to do a tutorial on this one as well if you are dying to know how I did it! It's fun, out-there, very stand-outtish!

Work-at-home Jobs

Hello Ladies,

Times are hard and everyone is trying to figure out a way to make an extra few dollars without leaving the house. Well, for the past two months I have been diligently researching websites that have work-at-home opportunities. There are some out there people! Don't be fooled! People are making money while they sleep! It's just a matter of finding the RIGHT ones who aren't trying to play the fence. There are ALOT I have found. Some great and some not so helpful.

I have discovered that they have jobs for:

*Bloggers (like what I do but making a career out of it)
*Writers (Examiner.com)
*Sales/Marketing (Mary Kay/Avon)
*Customer Service
*Outsourcing
*Data entry clerks and the list goes on....

Here I two links that may be some help to some of you stay-at-home mothers or those who just want to be their own boss. I KNOW I DO! Some of the job listings seem very credible... others may not be. So, pay very close attention to all job descriptions, pay, etc to see if it is legit and the right stay-at-home job for you. I will post more later when I find other websites.

I truly hope this helps someone:

Aromatherapy in the shower: Peppermint and Lemongrass YUMMM!

This is the soap I've been using lately as a shower gel. Most of you have probably seen it on my Dr. Bronners tutorial video, but I wanted to share with you all that I absolutely love it as a shower gel on my skin without diluting it! The smell is awesome of course and it doesn't dry out my skin at all because...

...I use this shea butter scrub as a moisturizer while in the shower! I bought this product from a vendor at the Zora Festival here in Orlando. It has lemongrass oil, grape seed oil, and sugar in it. The lemongrass reminds of nature itself. My body be in one place and my mind be in an African rainforest or something!

I follow the peppermint soap with this and rinse it off. However, my skin stays silky, shiny, and moist after getting out of the shower. Best feeling ever especially when it is chilly outside (wouldn't recommend it in the summer, too hot!)

Both of these scents are so refreshing! I feel like I'm in heaven sometimes! And what's best about them is that they are both natural products! You can make the Shea Butter scrub yourself by purchasing the ingredients listed. I will for the next time around :) I think I will continue to use both of these products because I love them. NATURALLY CLEAN!
